trunkCam is a small articulated camera for exploring the natural world, the way an elephant explores the world with its trunk. It's based around the common USB endoscope/inspection cameras, and adds a 3D printed, cable-driven mechanism that lets you poke the camera in to small places and have a look around. The system is designed to be submersible, built from commonly available/3D printed parts, and work in a wide range of temperatures and environments.
