Physarum Smartwatch
Human Computer Integration Lab mail
A custom designed smartwatch that integrates slime mold a.k.a. Physarum Polycephalum. The smartwatch requires a "living wire" (grown slime mold) to close the circuit and enable a heart rate sensor in the watch. This design requires users to take care of their watch (& slime mold) in order for the device to continue to work. The project includes the schematic, PCB design files, custom design files for laser cut acrylic enclosures, and models for 3D-printed watch enclosures.
