PolyVent is an open source human medical ventilator intended for research and classroom instruction. It runs the VentOS firmware and relies on the VentMon spirometer and VentDisplay IoT software, thus forming an open-source ecosystem of cooperating devices. The PolyVent is not intended for human patients. It has been used in classroom instruction, for which we have a "troubleshooting" module and a "risk and harzards" module. It would allow a research to investigate modes and PVA.
