If you want to get started with CAN bus interfacing, our Adafruit RP2040 CAN Bus Feather comes ready with a microcontroller, CAN chipset, and terminal blocks. The controller used is the MCP25625, a popular chipset chipset that has drivers in Arduino and CircuitPython and only needs an SPI port and two pins. This Feather uses a 4-pin Sparkfun Qwiic-compatible connector called STEMMA QT, which allows it to communicate over I2C without soldering. Click the link labeled 'Project Website' to find out more.
