MyoScope uPy
Franco Alessandro Arenas Mamani mail
MyoScope uPy is a fully open-source, low-cost (<$46 USD) 4-channel surface electromyography (sEMG) acquisition system using passive stainless-steel dry electrodes and MicroPython firmware on a Pyboard v1.1. The analog front-end integrates an INA828 instrumentation amplifier (G~311 V/V), zero-drift active filters (OPA333, AD8629), and a 60 Hz Twin-T notch filter. The firmware achieves deterministic 2500 Hz/channel sampling via a zero-allocation triple-buffering architecture. Powered exclusively by LiPo battery (>5h autonomy) with complete galvanic isolation.
