ANGELO is an Open Source hearing aid that promotes access to hearing care for the elderly and in LMICs. With over 1.5 billion people living with hearing loss, often related to dementia, it represents an inclusive, affordable and customizable solution: a game-changer within reach for millions of people. In short, ANGELO is an equalized amplifier, which allows to selectively enhance the relevant hearing frequencies, improving speech understanding and the perception of sound-related emotions.
