RideSight
Nikunj Dhandharia mail
RideSight is a a smart helmet attachment that provides real-time instructions to the rider via directions transmitted to an ESP-32 from a navigation application using two LEDs on either side of the interior of the helmet. Once instructed, the ESP-32 signals the two LEDs to light up relative to the direction. Each action is color-coded to ensure the user never has to refer to their phone. RideSight is targeting quick-commerce employees whose main mode of commute is a bike/motocycle, as there have been numerous cases of distraction and even accidents caused by them focusing too much on their phones for navigational guidance and not on the road. RideSight aims to aid this growing problem by attacking the root cause and hopefully saving the lives of riders across India and maybe even the world.
