We present a low-power, dual-voltage RS485 to TTL converter designed specifically for energy-conscious Modbus applications. This device eliminates the need for external level shifters by providing native support for both 3.3V and 5V systems. Crucially, it features a logic-controlled shutdown mechanism, allowing the host microcontroller to power down the converter between measurement intervals, transforming the interface into an active, energy-efficient component.
