Design and manufacture of a face shield for healthcare personnel and vulnerable populations based on frugal design principles
UNAL and ITM mail
The project presents the development of a face shield through the four traditional stages of a systematic design methodology: conceptual design, detailed design, design for manufacture, and prototyping, following frugal design principles. The implemented methodology enabled the creation of a face shield intended for healthcare personnel and vulnerable populations, ensuring compliance with requirements related to safety, ergonomics, maintainability, manufacturability, and cost.
