A single-channel biopotential recorder for educational demonstration. The analog front end uses discrete components for amplification and initial filtering. The system uses an ESP32-S3 MCU and an external Tang Nano 9K (GW1NR-9). The FPGA acquires ADC data, performs digital filtering (0.67 Hz HPF, selectable 40/100/200 Hz LPF, optional 50 Hz notch), and implements Pan–Tompkins R-wave detection. A DAC outputs waveforms for debugging. The MCU handles control, UI, and data export (CSV/BDF).
