The AperiSpray is a low-cost, simple to use assembly that converts existing Thermo Scientific OptaMax NG heated electrospray ionization (H-ESI) housings into paper spray ion sources, making use of 3D-printed parts and off-the-shelf hardware. AperiSpray allows for instrument-controlled high-voltage and spray solvent delivery and can use either in-house-built or commercially-available paper spray strips.
