Leveraging Flexible Pipette-based Tool Changes to Transform Liquid Handling Systems into Dual-Function Sample Preparation and Imaging Platforms
Mohammad Nazeri mail
In soft materials synthesis, such as hydrogels, rapid self-assembly and poor mechanical strength limit characterization due to challenges in safely transferring materials or capturing transient processes. To address this, we developed a hardware platform integrating pipetting and in-situ imaging using the Opentron OT-2 robot. The 3D-printed adapter allows a USB camera to monitor processes like hydrogel crosslinking in real time, enabling high-throughput study of structure-property relationships
