The open-source cold and hot scientific sheet press offers researchers, prosumers, and hobbyists an accessible hardware design for compression molding. Commercial products for compression molding are often not available to consumers, too expensive, inappropriate in scale, or restricted in both their function and form. This hardware offer users both entry into thermoforming and the opportunity to create useful products while also diverting their own personal thermoplastic waste from landfill.
